WSA participates in several bird fairs and shows each year. We not only want to educate people who acquire exotic birds, but bird fanciers love to show off their beautiful birds in a formal competition.

Best in Show receives medals from SPBE, WingSpan received 3 medals and 4 Rosette ribbons (2005 RDCBS in Raleigh, NC) for Military Macaw, Eclectus and Plumhead (shown below). Sun Conure winners (listed above) are young birds raised by WSA owned by local WSA clients; 2004 Rosette ribbon for WSA's Military Macaw (2-time award winner).
