We are committed to raising the finest parrots to make lifetime pets for those who love birds as much as we do.  Our purpose is also to educate those who wish to learn about the avicultural care of these large, beautiful, rare and (some) threatened species.

 

Our Profile - Our Birds - And More About Us

We've owned parrots (mostly cockatoos) since 1980 and have participated in clubs from NH to NC.  All of our birds are kept and raised indoors.  We've participated in bird shows and have won ribbons for our beautiful birds.  Hand-raised birds are very affectionate and easily handled by many people.  These birds are very intelligent and easy to train.  They are all very playful and love to chew, therefore the need for bird toys and your attention to them is necessary.  

 

We're in beautiful North Carolina and members of the Raleigh-Durham Caged Bird Society that is comprised of over 100 local families/individuals including owners, breeders, pet store owners, and some of the nation's finest avian veterinarians.  We are also members of the American Federation of Aviculture who are dedicated to the promotion of aviculture and conservation of Avian Wildlife through encouragement of captive breeding programs, scientific research and education of the general public and U.S. legislators.
